The Econ Games 2023

Economics in the Real-World

  • Connect

Connect with students from other universities. The Econ Games will help you build a stronger network of students and faculty that share your commitment to learning and applying your economic knowledge to real-life business problems.

  • Apply

Learn how to apply what you learn in the classroom to business problems. Use your data analysis skills to tackle problems from the business world.

  • Grow

The Econ Games conference will help you develop technical skills but also will reinforce the importance of soft-skills. Working with teams, communication, and the ability to persuade an audience are important workforce skills that our participants gain.

The Econ Games 2023

The date and location of our annual The Econ Games Conference are concrete! Mark your calendars for March 23rd and 24th, 2023, for the event held at the University of Kentucky! Beyond our data sponsor, we are excited to have the presence of other firms for an employer meet-and-greet where your students will have access to the top firms eager to recruit economics and business students!

Our Econ Games Conference will require a conference fee of $250 per student for nonmember institutions, and $100 per student for member institutions.

Become a Member

How to become a member and secure your priority registration and discounted conference rate:

In addition to our annual conference in March, we are launching a Membership Community that will serve as a portal to a wealth of resources tailored toward economics and business students, which includes:

  • Professional development seminars

  • Invitation to virtual speaker series

  • Workshops and skilled development tutorials on topics such as Tableau and Stata

  • Early access to The Econ Games conference preparatory materials

Membership in our online community will be priced at $400 for an unlimited number of students. As a member, your students will receive priority registration and a discounted program rate for our annual conference in March! As outlined above, member institutions will pay $100 per student for our annual conference while our non-member fee is priced at $250.

The Community

The Econ Games Community will provide students with networking and development opportunities with individuals from other institutions. Community members will also have a direct line of communication with our community development managers who will support and answer any questions that faculty and students have. Non-members will not be granted access to the online community and will use a customer service email for any questions they may have.

In The Econ Games Community, we will be launching a series of virtual workshops and skilled development tutorials on select Fridays at 2 pm EST! These workshops will be offered exclusively to our community members and no recordings will be available outside of the community dashboard.

Our kickoff session to these workshops will be on November 4th at 2 pm EST! Be on the lookout for more information on these virtual workshops soon!

If you're looking to join our online community, registration is open now for faculty to become members and to invite their students! Otherwise, to register individual students for the conference, registration will be open in the early spring semester. We have a limited number of students for the conference, and spots will go quickly! We hope to see you on March 24th and 25th in Lexington, Kentucky, and look forward to working with you to enrich the educational experience for your students!
